The Energy and Utilities Skills Register (EUSR)

EUSR, energy & utility skills register

The Energy and Utilities Skills Register (EUSR) is an independent organisation set up to address the skills shortage in the Energy and Utilities industry.  EUSR is an online register of skills and training for the energy and utilities sector.

The Energy and Utility Skills Register cards are more specific to the utilities industry where it covers each specific industry and is endorsed by and affiliated to CSCS each sector it covers is as follows:

  • Power

  • Gas

  • Water

  • Telecommunications

  • Waste

The EUSR keeps it curriculum up to date by working and liaising with industry sectors and professionals and it regularly updates the course materials, all instructors have the relevant industry experience and because it is endorsed by and affiliated to CSCS it allows individuals to work on construction sites.

The EUSR training offered at TNS is done face to face in a classroom with a qualified instructor. It has core modules then industry specific modules all with a multiple-choice question paper at the end of the course. At present this is not done online like a standard CSCS or ECS card. More information can be found on the EUSR website.

Total Network Solutions Europe currently run the EUSR SHEA Telecommunications course. Paul Forster is an accredited trainer for the SHEA Telecommunications & Networks card.
